Bartlesville OK Workshop
Join us in Bartlesville, OK where Mrs. Elisabeth Jochum will help you to gain practical strategies for nurturing young minds!
Educators have an eternal calling - to serve as anchors of truth, grounding the families and little ones entrusted to our care. Learn four principles of truth that can anchor us and the children and families we serve. Apply these truths to pressing questions about healthy attachment, fear and anxiety, brain development, and challenging behaviors. Learn research-driven truth on the critical needs of the developing child’s brain and ways to counter a child’s fears. Evaluate how you approach a child’s dysregulated behavior and gain skills for healthy social and emotional health using the Pyramid Approach. Finally, create problem-solving activities for your class that will benefit brain development in multiple ways.
This transformative training will equip you to intentionally craft learning experiences that anchor every moment in biblical foundations. Discover how to:
⚓Decode anxiety-driven trends impacting child development, arm yourself with research-backed truths about children's needs, and craft effective strategies to educate parents on healthy early childhood development through targeted events and communications.
⚓Construct a model of a preschool child's brain that illustrates the young brain's most critical needs, pinpointing crucial adult behaviors for healthy development.
⚓Master the Pyramid model for social-emotional health in young children, evaluate your school's alignment with it, and perform responsive interaction scenarios to foster positive social development in preschool settings.
⚓Transform your preschool curriculum by harnessing the power of outdoor play and movement, and engineering multi-faceted, creative problem-solving activities that supercharge young brains.

Presenter
Mrs. Elisabeth Jochum
Elisabeth attended Houghton College and West Chester University, earning a BS in Elementary Education, and teaching first grade at the ACSI school she attended herself. She and her husband spent 8 years on a church planting team in Indonesia, where Elisabeth taught a group of American kids (including her own 2 children) in a homeschool setting. She has 9 years of experience teaching preschool, and now works as a support consultant to parents and families who are in full time ministry overseas. Her desire is to see children be rooted and grounded in love, that they might know the love of Christ for them. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
