ACSI member Resurrection Christian School in Colorado hosts an annual Penny War to raise funds. This year, the school wanted to bless its partner schools in Southern California that have been affected by the fires. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the school was able to raise about $5,000, the highest amount of money the elementary school has ever collected for Penny Wars, which will go directly to Christian schools impacted by the fires.
"We are lifting up all those affected by the fires and high winds in Southern California, including Sahag Mesrob Armenian Christian School and Alta Loma Christian School.
Sahag Mesrob Armenian Christian School (Altadena, CA) has been a cornerstone of the ACSI family for over 40 years. Founded in 1980 and joining ACSI in 1981, the school has consistently provided Christ-centered education, impacting generations of students. Tragically, the school has been destroyed by fire.
Another member school, Alta Loma Christian School (Alta Loma, CA), has been an ACSI member school since 1990. It has sustained damage due to 100+ MPH winds.
Please join us in prayer for all staff, students, and families as they face this heartbreaking loss and seek God’s guidance for the future."
