Student Leadership Institute Overview

The Student Leadership Institute (SLi) provides a biblically grounded, year-long servant leadership program crafted to help students develop the skills and mindset necessary to influence their culture for Christ. Rather than simply offering a curriculum, SLi integrates a holistic leadership development program into a school’s core identity. Through a three-pronged approach—personal spiritual growth, theoretical understanding, and practical skill application—students are equipped to become Christlike leaders capable of navigating and impacting today’s culture. Our comprehensive SLi Educator Training equips schools with all the resources needed to successfully implement this program, fostering a lasting culture of servant leadership on their campuses.

SLi Educator Training

The Student Leadership Institute offers a biblically-based program designed to assist students in cultivating and developing servant leadership skills. These skills will prepare them to influence their culture for Christ. The institute's mission is to aid students in developing their leadership philosophy and skills through a comprehensive, year-long program grounded in biblical principles. Intentional training for school leaders and teachers is provided before SLi implementation which equips them to create a student leadership program and culture on their campus. A customized approach is taken for each school, and a personalized implementation plan is developed during the training.

Educator Training Objectives

1. Learn how to effectively train students in the biblical model and definition of servant leadership with a core emphasis on the four SLi Operating Principles
2. Learn to create a healthy student leadership culture on your campus
3. Learn to identify and develop student leaders by providing them with a sustainable and applicable leadership training program that can be incorporated into any schedule
4. Learn to identify and train staff members who will partner together to lead a student leadership development program on your campus

SLi Micro-Credential Overview

Student Leadership Institute (SLi) is a biblically based program designed to assist students in cultivating and developing servant leadership skills that will equip them to engage this culture for Christ. Through engaging the in Student Leadership program, students develop their leadership philosophy and skills through a biblically based, practical, multi-faceted, year-long program. Educators who participate in ACSI’s SLi Educator Training, create a Student Leadership program at their school, and complete follow-up activities will be eligible for an ACSI micro-credential.
