“Holy Week at Metrolina Christian Academy is a time to focus our students on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Every Bible class, chapel, weekly family email, and more is saturated with the truth of His glorious resurrection. All of these activities are culminated at the end of the week with a combined church and school Good Friday service drawing our entire community's attention to the cross and its significance. Our school community will rejoice and celebrate this week that JESUS IS ALIVE!”

“Both the darkness of Good Friday and the good news of Easter Sunday are held together as we celebrate God’s great act of redemption in the world. Throughout the week, our students hear of Christ’s journey to the cross through Bible studies and their various Bible classes. They learn what it means to live in light of God’s arrival among us and His power over sin and death. The week culminates on Thursday as both students as well as faculty and staff participate in Maundy Thursday worship services to reflect on the meal which Jesus shared with his disciples before He was crucified.”

"At Wilmington Christian School (Hockessin, DE) we invite parents and guests to participate in our Early Learning Center Easter chapel where the students perform a few songs. The K-12 Easter Celebration is held on Grandparents' Day where we worship together, and the students sing songs, recite poetry, read Bible verses, and share testimonies - all with a focus on gifts we have been given from special people in our lives to salvation through the death and resurrection of our Savior. After our chapel, our guests are invited to the classrooms, where they create an Easter craft with the students. Throughout the week, there are many special events that happen in the classrooms from preschool children with palm fronds to second graders reciting the story of Holy Week with Resurrection Eggs to teachers at all levels highlighting story books with the Easter message. In alternate years, many of our high school students spend Easter overseas in Kenya, Africa, sharing Christ and serving at an orphanage with which we have a special relationship."

"Rejoice Christian School observes Passion Week in multiple ways. In preparation for Good Friday and Easter, we’re offering a five-day reading plan for our Bible classes that features specific scripture passages to guide students through the story of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection. Each day of the plan will be paired with a dress-up day, with colors that reflect the theme or emphasis of that day’s scripture. We will hold three special chapel services: a Maundy Thursday prayer and worship service, a service to observe Good Friday, and an Easter Celebration service when we return to school after Easter break. We encourage families to utilize YouVersion or RightNow Media to participate in a reading plan together. We also encourage our families to consider fasting from something meaningful during the week leading up to Good Friday as a way to engage more deeply with Jesus during the Easter season."
